Illinois Tax Amnesty Program

There is a new Illinois tax amnesty program starting October 1, 2019 and running through November 15, 2019.

The program applies to unreported or unpaid tax liabilities for tax periods ending after June 30, 2011 and before July 1, 2018. Under this program, penalties and interest may be waived on a qualifying delinquency if the delinquency is paid and the return is filed during the amnesty period.
